Who We Are

Our Mission: The Washington County Children’s Program works with children and their families in order to create the optimal environments in which children can grow, focusing on prevention and early intervention, and increasing the community’s awareness of its children’s possibilities and special needs.

Our Vision: The Washington County Children’s Program sees Washington County as a place where every child is loved, nurtured, and appreciated for their creative potential, has safe and healthy surroundings, and is valued as an individual.

Staff

"Our staff come and they 'stay' – some staff members have been with the agency since the late 1970s and early 1980s, when the program began providing services. Having worked for the Children's Program since 1994, I see an amazing group of highly skilled, hard working and dedicated staff who are driven by our mission. I am very proud of our team – together, we make a huge difference in the lives of children and families living in Washington and Hancock counties." – Elaine Cale, Executive Director
